Inca Triangle

Spend a week exploring Lima and Peru with our exciting Inca Triangle Package, which includes guided tours around the city, and a five-day trip to Cuzco and Machu Picchu.

Day 1
On arrival in Lima, you will be driven to the Miraflores Park Hotel. Relax and enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Day 2
In the morning guided sightseeing tour of Lima: Colonial and Modern. Lima, the country's capital city was originally named “La Ciudad de los Reyes” (the City of Kings).

Visit the Larco Herrera museum, one the most beautiful and comprehensive museums of Peruvian Pre-Columbian Art and Archaeology. It is located in a majestic 18th century colonial mansion built up over a Pre-Columbian pyramid dating from the 7th century and surrounded by wonderful gardens. It holds the world's largest private collection of Peruvian Pre-Columbian art (45,000 objects). The classified storage area is also open to the public.

Day 3
Flight to Cusco. Please remember to look after your flights in advance and provide this information to program your transfer services. On arrival, you are greeted by your guide and transferred to the Hotel Monasterio.  In the afternoon visit the Capital of the Tahuantinsuyo Inca Empire and then continue to the National Archaeological site of Sacsayhuaman, where the complex of Sacsayhuaman; Qenqo; Puka Pucara and Tambomachay are found. Overnight in an Oxygenated Deluxe room.

Day 4
09:30hs Full day at the Sacred Valley, starting at the community of Chinchero, which still keeps the infrastructure of a typical Inca town.  On Sunday’s enjoy the arts and crafts of a typical Andean market that showcases unique souvenirs from the area; and experience the old barter system still used by its vendors and buyers.  To continue this magical journey we go up the valley to Ollantaytambo the last Inca town that still keeps its original architecture.  BBQ lunch is included. 

Day 5
Transfer to the train station to take the Hiram Bingham train journey to Machu Picchu which includes a glass of Mimosa (champagne with orange juice) and a Brunch on the train. The landscape changes, from the high plateau of Chincheros, to the impressive Urubamba river canyon to the spectacular slopes of the Vilcabamba mountains. On arrival, a short bus ride takes you up to the Lost City of the Incas and Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. Enjoy a guided tour of this ancient citadel, followed by a typical English Afternoon Tea at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge.

Day 6
Explore further. Hike up Huayna Picchu or visit the Temple of the Moon. Have lunch at the Tinkuy restaurant at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. In the late afternoon return to Cusco via Hiram Bingham, which includes a special cocktail plus dinner, upon arrival, transfer to the Hotel Monasterio.

Day 7
Transfer to Cusco airport for the flight to Lima. Please remember to look after your flights in advance and provide this information to program your transfer services. Upon arrival, you will be driven to the Miraflores Park Hotel.

Day 8
Transfer to the airport for your international departure.
