Day One
Transfer from the airtport to the Hotel Monasterio. Enjoy Cusco city and its wonders at leisure.
Day Two
Depart Cuzco at 8.15am for a brief drive to Poroy station and board the luxury Hiram Bingham train, operated by Orient-Express.
This spectacular train journey crosses the Anta plateau and follows the Urubamba River down the impressive Canyon of the Vilcanota. Enjoy a gourmet brunch before disembarking at 12.30pm at Aguas Calientes, located at the foot of Machu Picchu.
A brief bus ride whisks you up to the Lost City of the Incas and the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge. After check-in, your expert guide will meet you at the lobby for a group and informative tour of mystical Machu Picchu. Upon returning to the hotel enjoy an exquisite afternoon "English style tea" with an assortment of fresh and hot drinks, petits fours and mini snacks

Day Three
Beat the crowds and enter the Machu Picchu Citadel at dawn to visit the Sacred Center. You will have your day at leisure to adventure into some great hikes – Sungate, Machu Picchu Mountain or Huayana Picchu. Uneven paths make these hikes a bit demanding, but the unique and incredible views make the effort more than worthwhile!
Upon your return, enjoy a lunch and afternoon again at leisure.
Dinner and overnight at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge in a mountain view room.
Day Four
Following an early breakfast, board the 8.30am panoramic train to the Sacred Valley, disembarking at Ollanta for your private transfer back to Cuzco, where your magical journey ends. After checking in at the Monasterio, you’re free to venture out on your own discovery tour of Cusco. End the day sipping a typical Coca Sour in the Lobby Bar, or try one of Cusco’s many restaurants.

Day Five
After breakfast at the Hotel Monasterio, your magical journey ends.
